Savali Bungalow

The project focuses on renovating and extending an existing bungalow on a sprawling 50,000 sq. ft. plot filled with trees and greenery. The aim is to retain the original character of the house while improving how the spaces function and connect.

The bungalow is updated to suit present day living. Living, dining and kitchen areas are opened up to create better flow and interaction. The two existing bedrooms are kept with new toilets added to improve comfort and usability. A separate home office is added as a quiet workspace for the owner.

An annex is designed as an independent guest unit. It functions on its own but stays connected to the main house through transitional spaces, allowing both privacy and a sense of continuity.

Overall, the design works with the natural surroundings and keeps a strong connection between the built spaces and the landscape.
